Hoboken kicked off its annual Christmas Tree Lighting, hosted by the City and the Hoboken Business Alliance, at 4:15 PM at 11th and Washington Streets in December 2022. It featured Elvis the Elf and performances by Cheer Dynamics All Stars, Studio L dancers, the Garden Street School of the Performing Arts, the Hoboken High School Chorus and Flute Ensemble, and the Brandt, Connors and Wallace school choruses. Mayor Ravi Bhalla and the city council attended, along with a special guest appearance from Santa himself.
Next year: the 2023 tree lighting.
