On Saturday, August 6, 2022, The 6 Borough and What Hoboken Sounds Like hosted the 2nd annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament Fundraiser in remembrance of Jose "Cheeks" Emanuelli, at 4th Street Park / Gary White Courts in Hoboken.
"We define love the way we experienced it, but the real question is, can one define love?" WHSL founder Victor Lopez Jr. couldn't make the first tournament. This year he sponsored it and helped organize it with old friends for a deserving cause. To him, joining together to honor those who have passed is what community and love are all about. He thanked The 6 Borough, @rizzyray11, @jose_b_wylin and @d3e_j_m for letting him be part of it. The community pledged to keep honoring Cheeks and to bless his wife and son with all the love they once gave him.
