In January 2023, WHSL introduced another young Hoboken creative: fashion designer, model, gamer and entrepreneur Tavian "Nave" Frazier (@lowkeynave), 22. He comes from a long line of creatives in music, art, cosmetology, film and more. Nave started his brand, 2Wrldz, in 2020 with artsy, creative designs on hoodies, shorts and more.
What can we expect from you in 2023? "The past few years I had many setbacks and even thoughts of giving up, but this year I'm shifting all my focus to my clothing line and growing as a brand. Releasing clothes more consistently, and showing more behind-the-scenes content from photoshoots." He also planned to grow the 2Wrldz gaming channel.
What inspired you to become a clothing designer? Watching his sister design her own clothing, at her side. In his freshman year of high school, he and friends started a clothing line for a class project and won an award. After graduating, he went to work on his own line.
What does Hoboken sound like to you? "Hoboken a small city, but make a lot of noise. A lot of talent coming out of here, sports, music, clothing etc."
The next day, 2Wrldz announced its signature hoodies, with preorders opening that Saturday.
