The 3rd Annual Southwest Fest took over Jackson Street on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 12 to 5 PM. It was a free, family-friendly day with carnival games, music, face painting, a mechanical bull and more.
The festival was presented by 4th Ward Councilman Ruben Ramos, SW Hoboken Neighbors, Community Lifestyle, What Hoboken Sounds Like, the Hoboken Housing Authority, the Hoboken Business Alliance and the City of Hoboken. This year also marked the launch of a new group, SW Hoboken Neighbors.
Rain or shine
"Southwest Fest was amazing yesterday. Even the rain couldn't stop the fun," organizers said the next day. "Families came out, the community showed up strong, and the energy was beautiful."
