Future voters, meaning kids, were invited to the launch of She Persisted: Kamala Harris by @raakstarwrites on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 4 to 5:30 PM at the Hoboken Library.
Senator Raj Mukherji, Assemblywoman Jessica Ramirez, Mayor Ravi Bhalla and Councilwoman Emily Jabbour joined a discussion about running for office. Attendees then wrote postcards to representatives in Trenton and Washington, D.C., about what matters to young people. Books were available through Little City Books.
