Hoboken's own Joe Pantoliano, the legendary actor and hometown icon, guest stars in Marvel's Wonder Man, Episode 2, "Self Tape." In one scene he brings up mozzarella from Hoboken, slipping a very local flex into the Marvel universe.
It's a full-circle moment: Pantoliano previously played Ben Urich in Daredevil (2003).
Wonder Man is Marvel's behind-the-scenes take on Hollywood, following Simon Williams as he navigates acting, fame and the chaos of the industry. From Hoboken streets to Hollywood sets, Pantoliano is still repping the city that raised him.
