The 2nd annual HOOPIN4NU basketball tournament, organized by @rightyy_ttg and presented by the Hoboken Housing Authority, tipped off at 10 AM on the Housing Authority courts at 5th and 6th Streets and Marshall Drive.
One of only two official basketball tournaments in the city, the event honors the life of Damon Murray, who was lost to gun violence.
The day's schedule
- Kids games from 10 AM to 12 PM, featuring Hoboken Elite
- Adult games from 12:15 PM
- Live music from DJ Cheddar
The tournament brought the community together for a full day of basketball and music in Damon's memory.
