In November 2023, What Hoboken Sounds Like wished a big happy birthday to its Director of Cultural Affairs, Tareek (Od Reek), who was officially welcomed to the team at Summer Blockfest and has been exceptionally dedicated.
WHSL also shared some history: "What Hoboken Sounds Like" originated from Reek's idea in March 2018, sparked by the hashtag #Thiswhathobsoundlike. That concept of uniting a community has grown into a reality, making it fitting that Tareek is now part of the team. "It's amazing how it all comes full circle!"
