Familyhood NJ and the Hoboken Housing Authority brought the community together on Saturday, August 29, 2026, for their annual Back-to-School event and backpack giveaway.
The day was built around helping families get ready for the new school year, with time to connect and celebrate before classes started. Community members and local organizations were also invited to donate and table at the event.

- What: backpacks with school supplies, refreshments, games, and arts and crafts
Pre-registration was required to receive a backpack with supplies, according to the event flyer.
